"Mary Jane Undressing"
Another of the very popular "Mary Jane Undressing" kits sculpted by Jim Maddox! This piece stands roughly 11" tall on it's base and was issued in 1/6th scale. Original kit consisted of 7 solid off-white resin pieces. The pants, originally included to include on the base top were not utilized. This is a great kit that fits well and was relatively easy to assemble. This one is the second, and the last of my "Mary Jane" kits. I opted to make a few changes on this kit - such as removal of the "Spider Man" socks from her legs and replaced with sheer white stockings. I have also added a few slight "ruffles" to both her bra and her underwear. The typical mask and glove remian on the base at her feet. The bra, underwear and stockings have all been painted in a sheer white with a slight bit of metal flake added. The sheer white is slightly transparent, revealing subtle details underneath. Otherwise the kit is painted in traditional colors. Blue and red pearls, moderate skin tones and exceptional details in "Mary Janes" face. The overall feel of the colors and style renders this piece as a very "high class Mary Jane"! The base is finished in a pearl blue center, fading to a black base - all coated with poly for a durable and high gloss finish. Another pleasure to build this piece, but this is the last of the "Mary Jane" kits I will render.
