Figuralia Miniatures  "Catburgler"

This was created from an original "Figuralia Miniatures" kit, sculpted by Luca Piergentili.  This was an exceptionally well sculpted kit with remarkable detail and quality.  Not too many pieces in this kit, the figure body, tail, an arm, a whip and the included base.  The sculpt is in the rather large scale of about 1/4 and reflects more of a superhero type figure.  High facial details were accomplished due to the very workable size and defined cast.  other than the face, the figure is very easily paintable requiring very little detail work.  The interesting thing to note about this piece, as described in the "about me" page, is that the entire figure, other than facial and hair details, was painted using the same color black.  The variance in black appearences, were achieved by simply using combinations of gloss, dull and semi-gloss topcoat finishes.  This piece stands about 9 inches tall and is of solid resin.  Subtle details were added using sewing pin heads for such things as the snaps of her utility belt and back-pack.  The "Catburgler" logo was painted on the base in metallic yellow, matching her hair.
