Monsters in Motion "Barb Wire"
An iconic representation of our favorite Pamela Anderson as depicted in the movie "Barb Wire". This kit, put together by 6 resin pieces was sculpted by the talented John Wright specific for "Monsters in Motion" in 1996. As completed, the kit stands roughly 15 inches tall and is in 1/5th scale. For the most part the likeness to Pamela Anderson is quite good. Her outfit was modified slightly from the truly accurate movie costume in that stockings and garters of latex sheet were added and are not included in the production kit. Another addition to the original kit was the addition of real lacing of her jumpsuit and the molded resin buttons were replaced with pin heads. Nearly 100 pinheads were drilled and individually installed into their proper place. Her entire outfit done in midnight black with changes in top coats to represent various textures. Her boots slightly dirtied and the gun done in a slightly blued shade of steel. High gloss poly applied in areas that required a super high gloss such as her eyes, gun barrel and her finger nails. Her hair was done using various shades of yellow, cream and brown, topped with a pearl white for blending of color as well as finishing with a minimal shine. The included base was done in a sandstone appearance with candy black metallic base. The nameplate in candy red with gold lettering. This kit contains tremendous details and is still available today in a second generation kit through Monsters in Motion.
